Live Green

A minimalist composition featuring eco-friendly cleaning products arranged on a textured beige fabric. There's a bottle with a pump dispenser, a small packet, and two paper bags with lavender and mint green labels. The background is softly lit, creating a calm atmosphere.

We believe that we are all called to be stewards – stewards of our bodies, of our communities, and of the earth we all share.  And while the internet has made it possible to educate ourselves on exactly how to do this, it also made it possible to order poorly made, unhealthy products in plastic bottles from the other side of the globe.

Ideally, we’d all be shopping at the local farmers’ market, but that’s just not realistic.  And baby steps can still make a BIG impact.  That’s why we are proud to promote non-toxic, American-made products to help you improve your health, strengthen your community, and reduce your carbon footprint.

Our goal is to search out eco-friendly products, such as household items, clothing, and personal care items made in the US.  Products that are free of:

  • Fragrance: Often a proprietary blend of undisclosed chemicals, that contain endocrine disruptors, allergens, and other harmful substances.
  • Phthalates: Used in cleaning and personal care products and are known endocrine disruptors linked to reproductive harm.
  • PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances): Also known as “forever chemicals”
  • VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds): Found in many cleaning products and other household items, these can cause irritation and damage to organs.
  • Ammoniachlorine, and lye: Common ingredients in cleaning products that can be highly corrosive and toxic if mixed or ingested.
  • Parabens: Preservatives that can disrupt hormones and are found in many cosmetics and personal care products.
  • Triclosan: Found in some toothpastes, it has been linked to potential immune and thyroid issues.
  • Toluene: A common ingredient in nail polish and hair products, it can affect the central nervous system.
  • Formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives: Known carcinogens that can be found in many personal care products, including hair and nail products.
  • Aluminum
  • Polyester
